Lingonberry jam is consumed widely in Scandinavia as well as Central and Eastern Europe. Lingonberries grow throughout the Northern Hemisphere. We get foraged lingonberries from Washington state. Lingonberry jam does not require preservatives because it contains benzoic acid, which preserves the jam, and pectin, which gels it. The compote is very tart. Ingredients: wild lingonberries, Reyka vodka, sugar.
Intense Lingonberry Jam
This lingonberry jam is dense, and a little goes a long way. I love lingonberries. This jam is richer than others. Crispbread, cultured butter, and jam is delightful. It’s also great with meatballs and roasted poultry.
